Well yes, my favorite Indonesian Chef lives in Bali!! Extraordinary dishes with a superb technique at “Teatro Gastroteque”.

The name of “Teatro Gastroteque” means, a “Theatre” where the culinary team show their finest cooking techniques and creations for international fine diners.
”Il Teatro Gastroteque ” is a restaurant in Seminyak with about 24 seats and a kitchen under the spotlight; Perfect place for those searching something good

The Executive Chef Mandif creates French Asian dishes with an extremely interesting personality to be in Bali where, until a few years ago, there was no culture of fine food. Moreover Chef Mandif cooks with a great mix of local and imported products.

The Licorice Bread is simply extraordinary; the Foie Gras 2 ways Mousse (which he calls Terrine) are unreal…And let’s not forget the Coconut and Parmesan Cheese Pearls…Simply legendary!

I am working as Cluster Executive Sous Chef at Hilton Sukhumvit and DoubleTree Hotel in Bangkok (Thailand), following a stint as Junior Executive Sous Chef at Intercontinental Bali Resort (Indonesia). Previously I also worked in kitchens across Europe – principally in Milan and Paris until 2005 before heading East, first to Australia then to Hong Kong, Macau and Hanoi (Vietnam)
